Mac mini quad core i7 sims 43/15/2024 If I ever play live again that is what I'm going to get. If money isn't a concern you might want to check out a Kemper Profiler unit. It was a Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb 2 x 12 combo 100 Watt tube amp. GR sounds better running through Studio One and my Yamaha HS-80 monitors. I just sold my amp that I had for over 20 years that I used to play out with and I don't miss it at all to be honest. I also think amp sims sound best when I run my guitar through a tube pre-amp first and that goes for any amp sim. I don't care for the included bass amp's though. It comes with a lot of amp types that cover a wide range of styles plus it has more effects than I've ever been able to find a use for. They have to be about due for an upgrade because version 5 has been around a very long time. I'm using version 4 but I'm told version 5 sounds better and it offers more options. I like it because it comes with a lot of effects and many different styles of amps. I've been messing with amp sims for a long time and I've found that how well you can play and what pickups you have in your guitar is going to have a far bigger impact than what sim you use. There's so many to choose from and it's one of those things where people have very strong opinions so it's hard to get a good straight answer.
